## About Bangchui Island

A large park built along the seashore, where you can play in the sea and stroll across the pebbled beaches. On clear days you may see newlyweds in their wedding finery taking outdoor photos here, making it a truly romantic setting. Many national leaders enjoy vacationing on Bangchui Island, which has drawn considerable attention to it. Scattered throughout the scenic area are clusters of villas, including the famous Bangchui Island State Guesthouse, where national leaders stay during their visits.

## Tips from the guidebook

- Crowded beach: The scenic area has much to offer, but the beach is not made of fine sand. Instead, it is covered in pebbles, which are ideal for skipping stones. There is only a small patch of sand, and that is where most of the crowds gather. Water sports are available. Tandem bicycles can also be rented, which is a great way for couples to build teamwork.
