## About Alishan

“The girls of Alishan are as lovely as water, the boys of Alishan as sturdy as mountains…” Humming this song while touring Alishan feels just wonderful. The main peak rises to 2663 metres above sea level, making it one of Taiwan's most representative scenic areas.

## Tips from the guidebook

- Watch out for typhoons: In summer, the Alishan area is prone to typhoon impacts, which can lead to road closures and other disruptions, so check the weather in advance before you go.
