## Über Jinshan Scenic Area

Since ancient times Jinshan has been known as the “Mountain of Myths.” The episode “the flooding of Jinshan” in the classic Chinese folk tale “Legend of the White Snake” comes from this place. Jinshan has many famous sites scattered throughout. Jinshan Temple is an ancient monastery that has attracted poets and travellers for centuries. The Zhongling Spring (中泠泉) was already famous across the land in the Tang dynasty and is known as the “Best Spring under Heaven.”

- Jinshan route: Main Hall of Jiangtian Chan Temple → Xizhao Pavilion → Guanyin Pavilion → Lengjia Terrace → Foyin Hermitage → Cishou Pagoda → Ancient Fahai Cave → Liuyun Pavilion → Miaogao Terrace → Qifeng Pavilion → Bailong Cave → Zhaoyang Cave → Ancient Immortal Cave → Yudai Bridge → Imperial Wharf → Tomb of Guo Pu → Zhongling Spring (“Best Spring under Heaven”). Beigu Mountain, Jiaoshan and Jinshan all offer half-price admission with a student ID. A combined ticket for the three sites is also available for ¥120.
